Kiteskool offers a variety of kiteboarding courses designed to suit all levels,from a beginners introductory try and fly session to advanced riding.This course enables you to proceed with confidence buying and flying your own equipment. You will be given the opportunity to try out different equipment to see what suits your style. We offer independent advice on kite and board selection, to suit your ability and budget.

What equipment do you provide during the lessons?
We will provide trainer kites, 4-line and 5-line inflatable kites in all sizes from 2m2 to 11m2, twin-tip boards, lifejackets and helmets. All our equipment is 2010/11 and we have 100% depower kites from(Fone, Best)
Can I use my own equipment during the lesson?
For our lesson program, we usually use our equipment which has been tested to be safe and easy to learn on. After completing the course, you may choose to take private lessons to further your skills on your own equipment.
What time do lessons take place?
Lessons can take place from the morning, around 9am, in the afternoon, from 1.30pm and evening sessions can start around 5-6pm depending on the wind gods!
How long will it take me to learn to Kitesurf?
The short answer is, it depends! Some people will pick it up quicker than others but we usually recommend a minimum of 12 hours of lessons before a student is profiecient enough to kitesurf safely but some people may require more or less.
Insurance - what’s the story?
Students must be aware that power kite sports are potentially dangerous and are undertaken entirely at the student’s own risk.

. if you decide After your lesson to continue kitesurfing,you will need to get your own third party insurance to cover you. The best place to get this is through the Irish Kitesurfing Association - www.iksa.ie. You can sign up online and pay through paypal. The fee is only €60 for the year.
